Dear Mr Gent,
C.O. REGY
I have to thank you for the summary of the
clauses of the proposed amendment to the Factories Act
which is extremely interesting and useful.
My report to
the Hong Kong Government has now been forwarded outlining
the existing leglislation controlling the Gas Industry in
this country and suggesting amendments to the Regulations
drawn up under the Hong Kong Draft Bill for the maintenance
of gasholders in the Colony.
I would be pleased to receive from the Home
Office a copy of the amendments to the new Factories Bill
when they are printed and available.
I take this opportunity of expressing how
indebted I am to you for the co-operation and unfailing
assistance you have so readily given to me in my invest-
igation.
Yours sincerely,
J. Charlton..
